District Dental Solutions is proud to offer patients in Washington, DC the option of Invisalign® invisible braces. Invisalign is the number one patient requested clear braces system in the United States.
Dr. John and Dr. Jeremi Arroyo recommend this convenient treatment option for patients who can benefit from mild to moderate orthodontia to correct a wide variety of both cosmetic and dental health concerns.
Benefits of Choosing Invisalign®
Invisalign is the leading clear braces system because it’s easy, affordable and corrects a wide range of dental concerns including crooked teeth, crowded teeth, overbite and crossbite.
Invisalign offers patients a wide range of benefits including:
Removable aligners: aligners can be removed during meals and for routine oral hygiene. Patients are able to maintain their healthy diet without restriction and experience lower rates of tooth decay and discoloration often associated with traditional braces.
Clear aligners: clear aligners are discreet and barely visible to others. Patients are able to straighten their teeth without the disruption of metal braces.
Invisalign® What to Expect
The first step is a consultation with Dr. John or Dr. Jeremi Arroyo in our Washington, DC dental office. Once it is determined Invisalign is right for you, they will create a customized treatment plan. We will take an impression of your teeth and send them to the Invisalign laboratory to have a series of custom, clear aligners made for your teeth.
Most patients will receive several sets of trays, each pair is worn for about two weeks to gradually reposition the teeth. The length of treatment depends on your condition as well as your goals. Generally speaking, treatment takes 6 to 9 months, but some patients may achieve the results they want in as few as 3 or 4 months.
Special retainers and follow up visits with Dr. John or Dr. Jeremi Arroyo will help ensure you maintain your straighter smile.
How Much Does Invisalign® Cost?
The cost of Invisalign invisible braces depends on the individual treatment. Factors that determine pricing include the number of setups and aligners needed to achieve the desired straightening results. When compared to traditional metal braces, Invisalign is typically less expensive.
Are invisible braces covered by insurance?
Invisible braces are typically not covered by insurance. Dr. John and Dr. Jeremi Arroyo will help you with any billing and paperwork to maximize your dental insurance benefits. We also offer third party financing and payment plans for patients concerned about the cost of Invisalign treatment.
